Job Description
- We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) operations while leading a night-shift finance team. This role combines both operational execution and team management, ensuring accurate financial processing, strong internal controls, and smooth daily operations. The position also requires close collaboration with global stakeholders and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and sound judgment.
Key Requirements
- Experience & Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; 2–3 years AR experience; 1–2 years in supervisory/team lead role; manufacturing/MNC experience is a plus
- Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership; hands-on multitasking; analytical/problem-solving; detail-oriented; professional communication; quick adaptability
- Working Conditions: Onsite at the company’s office in Ho Chi Minh City Center; night shift (8:00 PM – 4:45 AM); occasional overseas travel to the U.S. for training
Role Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable & Finance Operations: Prepare/issue invoices for overseas entities; record & allocate payments; maintain customer master data; resolve AR issues; support collections; reporting; month-end closing; reconciliations (incl. intercompany); monitor aging & follow up; support ad-hoc finance tasks
- Team Management & Operations: Supervise AR & AP night-shift team; assign tasks & monitor performance; coach team; coordinate cross-functionally; improve processes; support onboarding/training; ensure compliance
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management
