Job Description
- We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing engineering team working on scalable web platforms and backend services. The role focuses on backend system development while also requiring a solid understanding of full-stack architecture and modern web applications.
Key Requirements
- Must-have: 5+ years of backend software development experience with strong expertise in at least one server-side language/framework such as Python, Java, Golang, PHP, or Ruby; solid understanding of databases, system design, APIs, networking, scalable architectures, and good English communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with production-grade Python systems, distributed architectures, Docker/Kubernetes, system performance optimization, and large-scale technical projects.
Role Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs
- Build and optimize database structures, data models, and system performance
- Develop reliable network communication and secure service integrations
- Collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Participate in system architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend and system-level issues
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, scalability, and security best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
