Job Summary

BidTal is partnering with a global manufacturing leader to recruit a Country Finance Director for their Vietnam operations. This senior leadership role will oversee all financial operations, drive business performance through strategic financial planning, and ensure compliance with local and international standards. The successful candidate will be a key member of the country leadership team and report directly to the Country Managing Director and Regional CFO.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
  • Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing or industrial sector preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Vietnamese tax, legal, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven expertise in financial planning & analysis, treasury management, and internal controls
  • Experience managing M&A, restructuring, or business transformation projects is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Vietnamese
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities

Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations including accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and internal audit
  • Lead strategic financial planning and annual budgeting process
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international financial standards (IFRS/US GAAP)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement financial best practices
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team of 15-20 professionals

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Exceptional compensation package up to USD 12,000 gross per month
